Introductory Workshops
Before diving into our workshops, we offer optional introductory sessions with the director of educational vision and philosophy, Dr Noam Weissman. These sessions provide faculty, students, and parents with an opportunity to learn more about our work, our educational philosophy, and the platform we’ve built for independent private schools. While optional, they can be particularly beneficial before sessions on Israel-Palestine and antisemitism as they set the context and introduce our approach to navigating complex topics.
Faculty session with Dr. Noam Weissman
This session offers faculty members the chance to meet Noam, our executive vice president and director of our educational vision and philosophy. Participants will gain insights into the principles guiding our educational videos and curricula, as well as the vision behind our new platform for independent and public schools. In this session, Noam will discuss the objectives of creating this platform, the experts shaping the content, and the potential benefits of partnering with us. Faculty members are encouraged to engage in a dialogue, ask questions, and explore how this collaboration can enhance their school’s educational offerings.
Student session with Dr. Noam Weissman
In this interactive session, students with a keen interest in Israel-Palestine will have the opportunity to meet Noam and learn about the educational philosophy behind our videos and curricula. Noam will present a sample video and engage students in a discussion about their perspectives and experiences. This session is also designed to gather student feedback and understand their interests, helping to shape future content and offerings that resonate with them.
Parent session on Navigating Conversations about Israel-Palestine
This session provides an opportunity for parents to meet Noam, our executive vice president and director of our educational vision and philosophy. Noam will share insights into his background and educational philosophy, highlighting how these principles shape our videos and curricula about Israel-Palestine. He will also share strategies for navigating conversations about the conflict and fostering an environment of open dialogue and critical thinking both in the classroom and at home. Parents are encouraged to submit questions in advance for Noam to address, ensuring a meaningful and informative discussion tailored to their interests and concerns. The format is a brief presentation followed by a Q&A with school administrators and parents.
